Kagrra, - Yume Izuru Chi
** this イズル = 譲る (ゆずる) → the ゆ changed to イ as per Tokyo's Shitamachi dialect; like the word Shinjuku (しんじゅく) changes to Shinjiku (しんじく) & Shujutsu (しゅじゅつ) to Shijitsu (しじつ).
あああ~ 傷み隠し風邪に曝され漂う
Ahh~ Itami kakushi kaze ni sarasare tadayou
あああ~ 耳を澄ましそっと瞳を伏せて
Ahh~ Mimi wo shimashi sotto hitomi wo fusete
光降り頻る途を踏み締めこの唄に誘われるまま
Hikari furishikiru michi wo fumishime kono uta ni sasowareru mama
夢が永遠に煌めく場所で悲しみも包み込むから
Yume ga eien ni kirameku basho de kanashimi mo tsutsumikomu kara
Hiding your pain, wander while exposed to the ill wind 1#
Straining your ears, eyes slowly casting down
Treading firmly the way where light pours down while being lured to this song
Because sadness is also engulfed in this place where dreams sparkle for eternity.
あああ~ 膝を抱え冷たい扉閉ざして
Ahh~ Hiza wo kakae tsumetai tobira tosashite
あああ~ 両手展げそっとこの声撫でて
Ahh~ Ryoute hiroge sotto kono koe nadete
光り降り頻る途を踏み締めこの唄に誘われるまま
Hikari furishikiru michi wo fumishime kono uta ni sasowareru mama
夢が永遠に煌めく場所で刹なさも包み込むから
Yume ga eien ni kirameku basho de setsunasa mo tsutsumikomu kara
Hold firm your knees, closing the cold door 2#
Extend both your arms, gently pating this voice
Treading firmly the way where light pours down while being lured to this song
Because sorrow is also engulfed in this place where dreams sparkle for eternity.
あああ~ 心浮かベ天の光を浴びて
Ahh~ Kokoro ukabe sora*** no hikari wo abite
Raise your heart bask in the light of heavens.
あああ~ 此処で待ち続け
Ahh~ Koko de machi tsudzuke
光り降り頻る途を踏み締めこの唄に誘われるまま
Hikari furishikiru michi wo fumishime kono uta ni sasowareru mama
夢が永遠に煌めく場所で苦しみも包み込むから
Yume ga eien ni kirameku basho de kurushimi mo tsutsumikomu kara
Continue to anticipate here.
Treading firmly the way where light pours down while being lured to this song
Because suffering is also engulfed in this place where dreams sparkle for eternity.
愛は限りなく優しくさせて透き通る想いを抱いて
Ai wa kagirinaku yasashiku sasete sukitooru omou wo daite
零れ落ちるその雫も拭い去ってみせよう
Koboreochiru sono shizuku mo nuguisatte miseyou
Let love be gentle to you endlessly, embracing the clear wishes
Let's wipe off those (tear)drops too that are spilling over.
*** here the kanji 天 (ten = sky or heavens) is read as “Sora" (usually written with this 空 kanji) = sky.
After searching a bit I was extremely surprised to know that there was such a rare reading of the kanji too. Dear Isshi using all these subtleties in his songs 🤩👌hehe.
1# I've translated this 風邪 (kaze) as “ill wind" because this kanji is for influenza etc = basically airborne illnesses.
2# basically hold yourself firm and close off the entrance to cold negativity.
(Also it simply can't be a coincidence that he used 冷たい / cold here while having mentioned 風邪 / catching a cold above. I think he means the cold negativity to be an illness that is going to be healed and uses the imagery of wind hence an airborne illness).
