Before we proceed, I've borrowed the original lyrics from here: rocklyricdotjp so it's not mine, the translations are all mine.
I only understood this song partly and was absolutely curious so went here for lyrics. The growl and scream parts were beyond me given it's a deathcore song. Mio's singing pronunciation is really hard for me to get (T___T) but I'm glad I could catch quite a lot of the lyrics on my own to get curious and translate~ Enjoy it's beautiful~
Sabita kokoro wa mada imi wo motome kara
The rusty heart is still searching for meaning
Kareta hana wa imi wo wasurete iku
The withered flower goes on forgetting the meaning
Kioku wo kobami nagara ikiru
While I live rejecting the memories
{ Protest one's innocence }
{ Protest one's innocence }
Nani mo kamo ga uso da to shinjitakatta
I wanted to believe that anything and everything was a lie
Samayoi kotae wo miidasezu
Without discovering the wandering answer
{ innocence }
Koe ni naranai koe、tada hibiku to kieta
The voice that couldn't be voiced, disappeared just when it resounded
Kachi wo nakushi kuzure ochite iku
Losing value fell crumbling
Sou dare mo、nani mo kamo、kietesatte iku
Everyone, everything, seemed to be vanishing away
Me wo tojireba mata koko de
When I close my eyes it's still here
Sabita kokoro wa mada imi wo motome kara
The rusty heart is still searching for meaning
Kareta hana wa imi wo wasurete iku
The withered flower goes on forgetting the meaning
Kioku wo kobami nagara tou
While rejecting the memories I blame⁴
Kyou ikita ashita wo matsu no darou
I've lived today will I wait for tomorrow?
Protest one's innocence
Protest one's innocence
Nani mo kamo ga uso da to shinjite
Believing anything and everything was a lie
Fuminijirareta subete ga nani mo kamo imi wo nakushite kowareru
The trampled everything losing all meaning came to nothing⁵
Ame、mata boku wo nurasu mae ni
The rain, before it soaks me again
Mata tsunagiawasete mo
Even when it's connected together again
Mou modoranai hazu no kako mo kau
The past too that cannot return mingles
Owari wo mukaeta kaze suramo kuzurete kiesaru no darou
Even the wind that welcomed the end has crumbled and vanished away
Mou nani mo kamo subete ore ga warui、mou sore de ii
Everything is all my fault, it's fine this way⁶
Zettaiteki、suuhai、chinmoku、kisama ni subete kureteyaru
Absoluteness, adoration, silence, I give everything to you⁷
Kurui hateru made kimi wa kowarete shimatta
You ended up breaking exhausted by madness
Sabita kokoro wa mada imi wo motome kara
The rusty heart is still searching for meaning
Kareta hana wa imi wo wasurete iku
The withered flower goes on forgetting the meaning
Kioku wo kobami nagara tou
While rejecting the memories I blame
Kyou ikita ashita wo matsu no darou
I've lived today will I wait for tomorrow?
Ima、miageru to
Now, when I look up
Sora、harewatari nemuru
Sky, clears up I sleep
NOTES:-
¹ I still hear 聴き instead of 生きる :] but I don't trust my ears in case of Mio's singing so I'll go with the website (T__T)
by my ears the line will be: I listen while rejecting the memories - yeah sounds off ><
² ahh it sounds 夢 / yume = dream to me instead of imi / 意味
³ ahhh it really sounds like まえ to me (form of まう) instead of 問う tou. And mae actually fits, see 舞え means to dance or revolve, Mio is actually dancing in the MV otherwise it could mean that he's still revolving around finding the answer.
⁴ 問う / tou also means to inquire ask question but given the song's context I've translated it to “blame”
⁵ 壊れる / kowareru = also means to be broken or to break but I chose the mentioned translation
⁶ how do I translate the もう/ mou; it's sense is the same as enough or for something that can't be the way it could've been; the essence is lost in English lol
⁷ 貴様 / kisama = derogatory form of you
