Band History & Band Members //
The band name "Deshabillz" comes from French word "déshabillez", meaning devoid/deprived/stripped, and is pronounced "dezabiyé".
In 1992, vocalist SHUN formed Deshabillz in Yokohama. But it can be said that Deshanillz came from band GUST with members : *SHUN (Vocals), You (Guitar), Yuuji (Bass), Yasu (Drums). GUST disbanded after the only one live they held with their activity period lasting only 1 month.

After that in December 1992 the members were changed and the 1st lineup or first generation of Deshabillz was : SHUN (Vocals), MATSU (Guitar), FUAY (Guitar), YUJI (Bass), JUN (Drums). But 1 year later the band became 4 member after starting out as a 5 member band.

In October 1993 bassist YUJI left and guitarist FUAY followed. After that in December of same year HIROSHI & SHI-NO joined the band making the 2nd lineup : SHUN (Vocals), MATSU (Guitar), SHI-NO (Guitar), HIROSHI (Bass), JUN (Drums).

After this there was a temporary break and in June 1994 when they returned MATSU's presence is not mentioned. Later HIROSHI & JUN leave the band with Shigure & TOSHIYUKI (roadie of Deshabillz) joining in respectively. The 3rd lineup is : SHUN (Vocals), SHI-NO (Guitar), Shigure (Bass), TOSHIYUKI (Drums).

But in the beginning of 1995 Shigure was hospitalized due to an accident and Hizumi joins the band. Deshabillz enjoys no member change for long while till 1997.
After signing up as a Major band with Warner Music in February 1997 TOSHIYUKI left the band and KAZUKI joined. So the last and 4th lineup is : SHUN (Vocals), SHI-NO (Guitar), Hizumi (Bass), KAZUKI (Drums).

But as we know that in May 7th 1998 Hizumi died in a car accident while attending X Japan guitarist hide's funeral. Deshabillz stopped all activities. An year later on May 7th 1999, a mask project band of Deshabillz called "Rasen VIRUS" was announced, releasing Hizumi mourning album "Shinjitsu no Omocha Hako" (under ENAMELL Records).

I love SHUN-sama. And my only motivation for this post is him. 😍💟 If you're interested in melancholic and dark stuff and even if you're not interested this band will always be a must listen in Old school Visual Kei category.
I can't describe the beauty of Deshabillz and Domestic†Child in my mere words of appreciation. Please listen to them. Unfortunately not much is available as is the discography hugely listed. Enjoy!! （≧▽≦）
