An awesome band. This band is proof that not all Neo Visual is bad!! XD I really like them a lot~ I didn't expect it but I ended up listening to their whole available discography 5 times in a row~ ♥♥

Themes //
They have stuck to their eastern borrowed (Indian) religious aesthetic in both Crimson Shiva & SHIVA, but the usage is in the sense of esoteric only while understanding is Christian! lol XD You will understand what I mean if you pay attention to their lyrics.

Mixture of songs // 
1) from religious songs which touch upon both positive & negative facts of religion to the dark/sadist themed and gory [for ex : Crimson Shiva song 「蝕眼/Shokugan」]

2) some songs [for ex : SHIVA song 「繭声/Mayukoe」] are heart touching.

3) and some are love songs [ for ex : Crimson Shiva song 「Dear Letter」] and [for ex : SHIVA song 「土葬/Dosou」]

4) there are also pop-rock songs, typically club-type or tease-rock-type, in both Crimson Shiva and SHIVA. [for ex : Crimson Shiva song 「Toxic Butterfly」] and [for ex : SHIVA song 「JOKER」]

Sound //
*Hence their sounds vary from Neo Visual Metal to Neo Visual Rock~ ★ Btw they mix Organ sounds and computer-generated Sitar sounds too~ ★
Their instruments are strong and tasty~ Overall sound is enjoyable and addictive~*

In fact they sound the perfect Neo Visual Kei yet they sound different from other Neo Visual bands. I mean that you'll remember their sound without the vocals also. Isn't that an admirable thing?? ( の •̀ ∀-)و

Vocals //
I love his vocals~ which is nothing like a strong deep voice and isn't any high level technically mastered vocal. His is a typical Japanese vocal but his singing is unique~ ♥ He doesn't follow any defined pattern of vocal+singing type - for example typical screamo or deathcore etc. All you can say is Tokiya-screaming/screeching, Tokiya-growls, Tokiya-crying/moaning, Tokiya-dramatic-effects, Tokiya-melodious etc. Even the vocal offs (which are rare) sound beautiful! XD In my opinion it's a talent and individuality achievement in the generic Neo Visual Kei. AND I'M NOT EXAGGERATING! ♡
